Ramblin’ Rose is a 1997 Evans & Sons 50ft narrowboat with a traditional stern, powered by a Beta Marine 38hp diesel engine, serviced in 2024 and September 2026. She benefits from Binar diesel-powered central heating supplying four radiators and hot water, installed in 2024, along with four lithium leisure batteries fitted in 2025 and a Victron Orion XS 50A DC–DC charger. The boat has 230V inverter and shore-power capability, as well as a Water Freedom filtration system with an under-sink UV filter, fitted in 2025. The hull was last blacked with bitumen and new anodes were fitted in July 2025. The most recent survey, dating from 2020.
