Virginia Currer Marine has its roots in West London, and has been brokering narrowboats for over 30 years. John and Virginia Currer first became interested in canal boats when running Brentford Dock Marina, located at the junction of the Grand Union Canal and the tidal River Thames. They decided to specialise in brokerage, and in particular in narrowboats. Even though they also sell widebeam boats, Dutch barges and residential boats, they only deal in steel built craft, leaving fibreglass river cruisers and the like to the Thames based brokers.
From their base at Iver, just a few miles from Junction 5 of the M4, VCM has to offer the only selection of used narrowboats for sale in one location in West London. Quite apart from their long experience, VCM offer a professional service, with the use of industry standard documentation, and adherence to the Code of Practice formulated by the Association of Brokers and Yacht Agents and also of the British Marine Federation. Client’s funds are fully protected at all times in a Clients Bank Account.
Do visit to browse unhurriedly around the boats for sale, and to discuss your requirements, whether just thinking about getting afloat, or looking to upgrade or downsize your current boat.
